Guild Rules
Vitare is a guild with a positive attitude and a strong reputation on Barthilas. We expect every member of the guild, raider or otherwise to uphold our standards with no exceptions.

We will not tolerate trash talking about guild members or the guild.
We will not tolerate Ninja'ing of any item regardless of the circumstance.
We will not tolerate abuse of any player, be they in guild or otherwise.

This guild is for mature people who are honestly here to have fun while experiencing end game content. We are not interested in having members who do not agree with this sentiment.

Raiding Expectations

Our guild’s raiding objective is to progress through the 25 Man Cataclysm raiding content both normal and hard modes without spending more than 15 hours per week on raids.

Vitare raid 25 mans 4 nights a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday 7:00pm – 10:30pm Server Time. If you are keen to join our raiding team, you must be online and available to play at least three raids per week.

Raiders are responsible for:

- Reading all forum boss strategies
- Enchanting and gemming gear
- Farming all consumables
- Pay for any respecs
- Be online on time for all raid sign ups

To attain and retain “raider” rank, you must
:

- Be online for at least 3 Raids per week
- Be online for raid start ready to go
- Be available for the entire raid time
- Notify officers via the forums if you are unable to be online

Raiders are expected to attend all raids when available. If a raider is available online and chooses not to raid then they are showing an obivious disinterest in raiding and will be demoted to casual or removed from guild. The severety of the penalty will be at the officers descretion.

Benefits of Raider Rank

The guild bank will cover repairs during raid time up to 100g per raider.

Fish Feast's or the equivalent will be provided during raids.

Raiders are able to purchase BOE epics and items from the guild bank at half the price it would sell on the Auction House.

Losing Raider Rank

The officers will remove you from raider rank if:
- Your attendance drops below 75% with no explanation
- Abusing fellow raiders in vent or guild chat
- Your performance is consistently below standard
- You don’t make any effort to enhance your gear through enchants, gems and crafted items
- You don't have 2 professions leveled to enhance your character

Guild Ranks:

Alts:

Guild members who have multiple characters place their additional characters on this rank. Alt characters will occasionally be asked to come into a progression raid at officer discretion. If you are requested to switch over from your main to your alt please be aware you will have 0 priority on any loot drops.

Casuals

Who is eligible?

Family and friends of current Raiders / Members & Mains of ex-raiders.

Ex-raiders who choose to raid with another guild and leave a toon in vitare will not be eligible for Casual Rank.

Family and friends of ex-raiders are welcome to stay in the guild so long as the ex-raider is still active.

Ex-raiders who now hold casual rank will be required to reapply to raid with the guild. Applications will be submitted through the usual processes.

Any character that is found to be inactive without prior advisement for more then 28 days will be removed from the guild.

Casuals are required to abide by the existing guild rules with no exceptions.

A Quick Note On Guild Rules

These rules are a guide line on how Vitare run and the officers will endeavour to follow these to the best of our ability at all time. Please remember that nothing in the world is black and white and as such situations may arise where these guide lines don't adequately cover how officers need to solve an issue.

Please, don't see this document as set in stone, updates will happen frequently as we grow and learn so please check back here often and let an officer know if you have any concerns.
